Will cron jobs persist when Gold is upgraded or will they get wiped out?

  Cron will not persist.  

  For the persistent feature, please wait a bit, it will be in 1.971; it will be part of a special hook, where you can load scripts after the Gold up and running

  So, we definitely need this feature asap. This should allow a lot of people to contribute to fierwalla functionality (similar to the infamous /jffs  of merlin).

  I assume cronjobs inside docker persist after reboot?

  Sorry to be a pest, but what's the status on this? I notice that I keep losing crontab entries... maybe the times I checked just happened to be after reboots but this is not good. 
  
  The start up scripts are in 1.971 but cron doesn't seem to be. is that right?
