What happened to this feature request, I can not see it listed any more and it had quite a few votes?

Not at the moment, but I think they are either working on it, or have noted it down for a future improvement

Well that sucks. I have a Gold, and I thought I remember reading somewhere that it supported up to 10. Puts a huge damper on what I wanted to do with the Firewalla Gold.

We never quoted supporting up to 10

And it is true, we will support multiple 3rd party VPN's.  In fact, the code doing that is already there.  The UI needs some work ... and at the moment Aug/2020, we are a bit loaded with all the new Gold devices, so likely we will schedule that work in the near future. (likely after 1.971)

@firewalla I think that I got that from https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023379953-VPN-Client#:~:text=Firewalla%20VPN%20Client%20enables%20you,the%203rd%20party%20VPN%20Server.  where limitation #6 says the VPN Client supports up to 10 connections.

I assume now based on your reply that it should be that the VPN Client supports up to 10 devices connected through a single VPN Client connection? Not 10 actual VPN Client connections?

It means 10 clients through the one VPN client.   Will clarify that in the document.

I've submitted the request to get the UI for multiple VPN client, no schedule yet.

Does anyone know if you can have a Many to One relationship for Firewalla units?

Meaning, if I have a Firewalla Gold, can I have 2 or more Blue/Red/Gold devices do a Site-To-Site connection back to the main Gold unit?

Yes, you can form multiple site to site with the Gold from red/or blue

Awesome, is there a limit on the number of those connections? And also, do you have any idea if SIP traffic works across such links?

The Gold can support up to 10 different sites connecting to it via the site to site VPN.  (The blue only support one).

Site to site VPN is pretty much IP in IP tunnel, so as long the traffic is IP, should be able to tunnel it over.  And no, we have not tested SIP traffic, but ... in theory, it should not have issues.   If you ever test it, please let us know

You previously mentioned that support for Multiple VPN will like come “ (likely after 1.971)”. Might you have an idea which version this will be added? Is it currently being worked on?

    Best to vote here https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/115000356994-Feature-Requests-

We will likely start 1.973 planning very soon.

Did this feature request make it into 1.973? Might you have a timeline when 1.973 beta will be available for testing please? I think this will be the best feature on the firewalla

@Simon, too early to tell now. Some of the major (large features) already started.

Would be great to actually see this happen. Was useful when I was running Advanced Tomato before I went to the FWGold.

This is in the current 1.973 alpha, that should be going to beta (they asked on Reddit today). I’m using it with one OpenVPN and another WireGuard service.

I just got the 1.973 pushed out to me last night.  I now see the option to configure a second VPN, which I did and have it up and running.
