How long for a device to show up on 2nd LAN

Firewalla Gold in Router mode.  

LAN1 Port 3 connected to a ORBI Access point.  Port 2 Connected to a switch for other Ethernet devices

LAN2 Port 1 Connected to a Linux server.

No devices have shown up on LAN2 although I have managed to find out what IP the DHCP server has given the server.  I have logged onto the device both locally and remotely through the firewalla VPN.  Also no network data is being displayed.

I am trying to set up some rules, but if the device doesn't show up will the rules still work?

Does anyone have any ideas.

  Is the problem with the Linux server on LAN2? is it a virtual machine? or it is a physical box?  Does it have an ipv4 address?

  Its a physical server connected to LAN2, that picks up an IPv4 address.  I can access the box, use it as normal but no device has been detected on LAN2.

  Lan2 has been configured only to have port 1 in use.  The server is plugged into port 1.

  If I delete  LAN2 and add port1 back into LAN1, then the server shows up in the device list with a new IP from LAN 1.

  It’s appeared. I deleted the LAN then recreated again. After a couple of hours the devices has shown up in the device list.
