Combination modem/router/wifi

I have a combination modem/router/wifi.  My question is: how do I get VPN wifi instead of the modem/router wifi?

  There is no such thing as a "VPN wifi".  If you are setting up VPN client and you are in DHCP mode, the VPN is paired with the device.
