    Tap on rules->tap on +-> pick the target matching "IP Address Range", you will need to do something 10.0.0.1/8 to allow/or block everything after 10.x.x.x

    I have this list from comcast and i prefer not to have to click and add for each block. It would be awesome if there is a textbox i can copy and paste.

    Yes, I agree.  It would be awesome if there will be a text field where we can just paste everything you want to allow/block.

    Well, we like this feature too.   To be honest the problem of this feature is really on our side.  When we start building all the complex rules (and we hope you all like them),  they also cause us problems;  And some of the problems are user-generated.  What we are afraid is, once we start to build features like above, it will likely generate even more trouble.  Because, there is no way for us to prevent customers from dropping a random set of rules, and having that rule block legit services.

    The "bad" experience, will often result in product returns, which is really costly to us as a startup.

    So, unless we figure out a way to prevent costly mistakes or ways to prevent novice users from using this feature ...  we are just afraid to build it.

    @Firewalla.

    I completely understand your comment above.

    For instance, I have been using the region feature to block countries where attacks are initiated. This has blocked  some websites that I may need to go to from time to time. So I would either shut off monitoring and browse (naked) and then turn it back on when done.

    Is it possible to be able to block countries, but also white list specific websites that will bypass the region block? Possible Feature request?

    Either way, I love the Gold as it replaced a RatTrap. So much more capability. Thanks for the hard work on this device.

    The "allow" feature is currently in beta, it will allow you to give exceptions.  Check it out here https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360049457753-Firewalla-Box-Release-1-970-beta-

    i have been using beta, and using the allow feature. it's great.

    another good idea is to allow temporarily like 1-8hr or permanent allow. this will be useful when we're traveling and get new ip addresses.
