Are you using simple mode? if you are, then if you can, configure ring with a static IP in the 192.168.218.x range, and see if things are better.  Doing this avoids arp spoofing to the ring, and hopefully, it will operate better.

Hello, yes, it is in simple mode.  Here is some other data points:

    1. After disabling monitoring to the Ring device, the static sounds stopped occurring in the video playback.  This means looking at recorded video, or live video did not have the interference.
    2. However, now when looking at live video, there is static sounds coming from the ring device ITSELF.  This did not happen before.  In other words, the audio interference is now showing up the ring device, not playback device, after turning off monitoring.
    3. Additionally, this only seems to happen when the Ring device and playback device are both on the same network, with the firewalla device.  For instance, if I look at live video on my phone, but I am away from home, the audio static does not appear on either device.

The issue definitely seems tied to firewalla and monitoring.

I can try to set static IP's on these devices, but can you explain how this would affect the ARP spoofing?  The ARP spoofing should not care if the IP is static or dynamic.  If the IP were to change, that may affect it, but the problem happens every time, and DHCP would not refresh nearly that often.

When you put the unit in the 192.168.218.x range, there is no arp spoofing.  You are essentially on the overlay network which firewalla monitors by default.   This test just rule out arp spoofing causing problems.
