I just recieved my gold Firewalla, I also use PIA as a VPN Provider, I have it successfully set up under the VPN Client option but the throughput is slow compared to what I get using the PIA application.

Should be straigfht forward to get it working. Log into your PIA account and download the open VPN File, I used the recommended options there is 2 of them, I then enter the Firewalla Appliacation and use the VPN Client option, Select 3rd Party VPN, enter my profile name username and password followed by uploading the openVPN file and it connects but as said it is very slow compared to using the PIA application.

I went to open VPN Generator, choose the server I wanted, then choose the recommended port config (There is 2 I believe) I then pressed generate which created the file for me, but yea to answer your question I used linux as the firewalla is linux based but I dont think the client matters for generating the file but could be wrong.

After doing that I then enabled VPN client, uploaded entered my details and used the file generated, pressed connect and it connected, as I said above though its very slow.

Should also mentioned based in the UK and I am using UK Servers, if you generate the file for both a windows client and linx client and compare them you will likely find no difference, might be worth conacting PIA support, they are usually pretty helpful.

doesn't work for me. PIA clients work fine on all machines… Thanks for your efforts, Derek.
