Can Firewalla finds out if my router is tapped ?
I am a happy owner of a Firewalla Red. It is connected to a chineese router Xiaomi MiWifi Mini.
I have no issue with any of these appliances so far. However I wonder if Firewalla is able to findout and raise an alarm if ever my wifi router is tapped as I don't completedly trust this maker.

Firewalla Red and Blue can not see traffic going to the router directly, the reason is, it is physically placed right after the router; think of it as a secondary wall behind your router. (The Firewalla Gold is a different story since it is your router)
Now, if you are curious about what your router is doing, you can do following
before: [ISP] <--->[router]<--> Firewalla
after [ISP]<--->[another router]<---> Firewalla
<----> [router]
When you do this, firewalla and your Xiaomi router will be connected in parallel in the new router, then firewalla will be able to see what Xiaomi router sends out ...
