The "real-time", say popping out something every second may be too expensive for the red/blue.   Two reasons

    1. to thread the flows together, do cost CPU, and do that per second is even more costly.   It is possible, but do require lots of code changes.

    2. pushing data once per second may be expensive if you are outside direct connect with the box.  Locally should not be an issue.

Thank You, and that does make sense.  While I did make a comparison to utilities like nmon or top, what I am ultimately looking for is a current view of bandwidth usages for devices on the network.  If that data is there for historical purposes for each device, could it also be queried for a "current" sortable report?

    Thank You

The data is all there but in pieces.  And, if more people asks for exporting or reporting features, we may be able to do something.  The real issue is to have enough interest to 'pay' for the code.

Understood.   I do believe that the ability to see real time network hogs would make this already great product a better product, and can provide more security.

    Thank You,

    Kevin

@Firewalla, can you do that for Gold version, and may enable that functionality to work only locally due the cost you mention:
