Firewalla causing 100% packet loss at regular intervals
I have discovered my Firewalla blue is causing 100% packet loss for up to 17 seconds at a time at regular 5 minutes intervals. I installed pingplotter and ran tests against three different web sites for over an hour. Same result. Verizon troubleshot my line and found nothing wrong. I disconnected my Firewalla and the packet losses stopped. Plugged it back in and they started again - every 5 minutes.

Hi Steve
The "good" news is the problem is repeatable. :). Possible to check following
- Did this problem occur after any network changes? (new router, new switch, added new mesh units?)
- What is the router you are using?
- If you have mesh units, make sure they are not monitored. (tap on devices->[find mesh units]->tap on it -> scroll to the bottom and disable monitoring

Just a quick update, the issue is caused by a network extender in the network, after Steve removed the extender, the network is back to normal.
We are not sure why testing via the extender is dropping packets, likely how extenders relay traffic is conflicting with Firewalla's spoofing.
