Firewalla Setup
Hi
I setup my Firewalla already. Original mode was not working with my Linksys so I set it up with fixed management IP and DHCP mode.. here are the IP mappings..
Original Internet provider router : 192.168.1.x <-> Home WIFI router 192.168.17.x <-> Firewalla DHCP 192.168.18.x
Now that Firewalla was the DHCP host my phone was able to control the box, perfectly..changing devices names, checking alerts and so on. Double thumbs up !
But ... yesterday, I changed my primary phonem the one controlling Firewalla and the new one needs to be associated with the Firewalla.
I face an issue.. : it doesn't see the box and I wonder how to do. I tried rebooting Firewalla, scanning the QR Code, but nothing works.. at one time it told me that the firewalla is under a different network thant the one my phone runs on (192.168.17.x vs 192.168.18.x) but it didn't let me connect to it.
While setting a manual IP to my phone under the original subnet 192.168.17.x , it doesn't to see Firewalla better.. either if I know it's still running because I can see the filtered traffic and get new IPs with other devices.
So my question is : How can I setup Firewall in these conditions please ?
Right now.. instead of waiting 5 minutes searching.. I would be happy to have a file for 'Management Interface IP' where I could fill the Firewalla management IP :-D

To pair a new phone check out this article https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004369774-Tutorial-Managing-a-Firewalla-by-multiple-Apps
The key here is
1. Make sure your phone is on the same network. (I assume you already are)
2. Make sure you pair it immediately ... otherwise the self protection mechanism will kill the pairing (likely 10 min or so)
3. If you have a problem paring in (2), turn the button off and wait at least 10 min, before turning it on again.
