No traffic on a device

We have a Rachio Sprinkler controller. I see no traffic to or from it even when I do things that should necessitate getting information. I'm guessing traffic is not flowing through Firewalla but I don't know why. 

Any suggestions?

  If you are running in simple mode, It is very likely that the sprinkler is sending very little data to trigger firewalla to monitor it.   Switching to DHCP mode should solve this issue

  Thanks. I think I'll wait for Gold to start using Firewalla as the router. I assume that with Gold you don't have Double NAT etc. if you use it as your Router?

  Yes, the Gold will do nicely for this particular device.
