Firewall Blue + IPV6 traffic not blocking

Hi all,

 

I am from Germany and just received my Firewalla Blue. I am owning a Fritzbox Cable 6490. It is automatically connected via IPV4 (lite, tunneling) and IPV6. Firewalla is running in simple mode.

My issue: When I try to block internet traffic it is only working in some cases. I tried the hint you provided (visit firewalla.com and google.com and check what happens): firewalla.com is blocked, google.com not. So it looks like an IPV6 issue. The IPV6 feature is enabled in the app.

Any idea how to fix this?

  There is a bug in the ipv6 code which ... in certain ipv6 deployments, it may not find all the devices.  Hopefully the coming beta will fix the problem. We can also manually patch the system and have you try it out.   Just send an email to help@firewalla.com and ask about ipv6 patch

  Thanks for your help and installing the patch. I still had some situations where traffic was not blocked so I decided to switch to DHCP mode.

  I'm experiencing the same thing even in version 1.966, DHCP mode. Device connection is not fully blocked (youtube) specially with IOS with IPv6 enabled. I have decided to disable IPv6 on my network as a workaround.
