WebUI management will be super usefull as a device admin and from my humble point of view!

pfSense SG-1000. from NetGate is a good example of simple intuituve WebUI using nginx as a web server and Bootstrap/Fontawesome as a Frontend with php-fpm, but can be managed it with node.js/NPM

We are seriously trying to build something useful.  What's the major reason that you want to use this in a web interface? (or PC)

The iphone app have a lot (50) alerts in just two days, which I have to archive or "allow/block" one by one, it's annoying.

And I'm not sure I click too fast or the trust the location map too much, I got my office IP blocked, which I have to go home and do some research to unblock, I really want to have a "backup" way to access or manage the alerts.

Even not using standard way (http or https), there should be another way to manage.

    Johnson,

What kind of alarms are you getting? (the 50?).   The new device alarms can be ignored, it is default allow.    If it is the case, will ask our designer to take an extra look.  We are also improving the location map, hopefully we can get a better version online soon.

If not, then there may be a bigger problem.

    Hi,

    1) Abnormal upload (actually it's Bit Torrent traffic), if possible I want to exclude traffic through specific port, e.g. BT, SSH

    2) Security Activity, have to click "archive" for each alarm

    3) Phishing, try to access my Raspberry Pi Web Server, click "Not Allow"

I use the Blue Firewalla for a few days and got 426 Rules, and if I ignore the alarms, they'll block the queue and I can't choose to denied the phishing action on my SSH port.

I would like a webUI because I have many client sites that I manage.  Also when I drop ship it to some of my clients, it should be as easy as they plug it in, I then can remote to the device from a browser to configure it.

Besides, not everything needs to be an app ;)

I’d also like PC support since a lot my programs still only run on windows I’d like to have a single device that can access everything so I don’t have to also carry an iPad.  Won’t use a phone too small.
