Firewalla not found on Android
Basically my Firewalla Blue just arrived. I have plugged it in and I can see it on the network.
The lights are as they should be (solid red, blinking green, solid orange). My phone however can't find the device. I have tried waiting and rebooting. Any other steps?

Hi,
I have the same problem, and send an email to help@firewalla.com.

Ok I have solved my problem.
Since Firewalla will live in an all Unify ecosystem (Gateway, Switches, APs) I've tried every setting I have enabled that is securing my network. The thing that was causing problems was "Block LAN to WLAN Multicast and Broadcast Data" under my Wireless Networks settings.
Adding Firewalla under allowed clients list fixed the problem immediately so I guess it was the filtering that was causing problems.

I have tested my network extensively and everything works just fine. The only thing I did notice was that the first time Firewalla accessed my network some services started causing problems (computers having DNS problems, IPTV stopped working,...).
A full reset of my network (gateway and switch) was needed and everything started working as it should.

Of course I have.
I own a Security Gateway 3P, AC Lite APs and POE-60W switch. And yeah even though I had some hiccups at start it sure works nicely now even considering that I'm running a custom script to enable IPTV multicast traffic through my network which was main concern about this unit breaking that traffic.

I've got Ubiquiti AmpliFi High Density router and it seems incompatible with firewalla simple mode. I don't see in configuration any way how to enable/disable LAN to WLAN multicast/broadcast. Configuration app doesn't have so many options as I'd expect.
UPDATE: I chose "force simple mode" which didn't work at first, but then I realized I have DNS on router pointing to my pi-hole server inside network, so I changed that to point outside and now it's working. But now I don't use my pihole by default.
