Arlo Pro 2 WiFi security camera system offline or blocked
I recently received a new modem from my ISP which only seems to work with Firewalla in DHCP mode. I had everything up and running with no problems for about a week until my ArloPro base station was no longer accessible from the Arlo Pro mobile app. I turned off monitoring for the device within Friewalla which did not solve problem. For what it's worth this "event" occurred Thursday, December 20, last connection was 1:52 pm EST and last video recording in cloud was 1:51pm EST. I'm curious if you pushed updates or similar around that time. This was VERY random... only knocked my Arlo base station offline effectively disabling my video security system.
There were no changes to my network, modem, Firewalla, or Wi-Fi camera system so assumed that Netgear (manufactures of Arlo) pushed a firmware update behind the scenes. I spent hours with Arlo tech support who stated no firmware was pushed and eventually they decided to RMA my system as base station appeared to be faulty. I was leaving home for a week the following day so could not wait on the RMA and purchased a new Arlo Pro 2 system that evening. The new system had same problem once i configured and brought online. I tried a multitude of configuration changes within Modem and Firewalla but nothing worked so ultimately unplugged Firewalla and modified modem / router back to original settings which resolved the issue. I even disconnected the new ArloPro2 system and re-established my original system (that was to be RMA'd) which came online with all camera's connected and feeding video.
Having returned home, I've tried re-connecting my Firewalla in DHCP mode which works with all devices except the Arlo / Netgear system. I've added exceptions for all known IPs and domains of Arlo which did not help... I've disabled the Cyber Security feature of Firewalla which did not resolve issue. It seems the Arlo base station prefers IPv6 over IPv4 so I disabled Firewalla's IPv6 feature which did not resolve issue... still get message in Arlo app "Base station offline or not connected" and the WiFi camera's do not seem to be connecting to the base station (when Firewalla is integrated) even if Monitoring and all other features of FIrewalla disabled.
The Arlo Pro 2 base station is connected to modem / router via Ethernet cable. This is also true for my Apple Time Capsule which works fine with firewalla integration
Any advice or suggestions welcomed as I currently have the Firewalla device unplugged again... anxiously awaiting a solution!

This may be a complicated one. If your system is up, can you send support information to help@firewalla.com, we may need to look inside and see what's going on. Let us know your new router as well. https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004705654-Tutorial-Support
Please do not send the info here.

Sounds like an UPnP or DNAT related issue. Not sure what the arp entries in the Internet facing router look like and if the NVR has any security to detect strange ARP entries such as x.x.x.x == [ aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:f1, aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:f2 ]. still putting my money on UPnP or DNAT where the arlo mobile app uses a cloud hosted service that has a "remote access" checkin mechanism. Plex behaves similarly where the server checkins to the cloud service and the cloud service then performs a reflective accessibility check to determine server reachability.
Regardless... please post any sanitized resolution for future reference.
