Block new device until approved
Is there a mode that allows me to block access to a device until it is approved inside of the firewalla app? I ask because I am noticing a couple devices showing up on my router, but they are not showing in the devices list on firewalla. I am hoping to figure out why there is a discrepancy, but at this point it would be good just to be sure that any new device doesn't have access to call out until I approve it.
Maybe call it "paranoid mode".

I see the same thing on one device. My daughter's laptop show online on the router, but is no where to be found in the Firewalla Gold app. What's interesting is the Firewalla acknowledged that her device connected to the Gold as an alert, but her device does not show up on the list of devices. She was online for several hours last night and all this morning.

@Michael / @Kit. The device quarantine will be in the blue and red. The code is already there for the Gold (in early access mode as the time of this message). So, our challenge is to space out the code drops.
The red/blue release is a bit slower than the Gold, the reason is, there are lots of customers using these two boxes and it just takes time to make it stable.
So once 1.970 in red/blue go to production, we will likely push 1.971 out to beta on the red/blue

You can already block devices today that have randomized MAC addresses. On the quarantine device group, turn off Internet access. The assumption being you have been device quarantine turned on.
I should have noted that I’m running FWG with the latest alpha code. I’m sure it’ll make it’s way to the mainstream code.
