Successfully installed the latest version on a Cubox-i4 Pro
I appear to have successfully installed the latest version of Firewalla from the github repo. Some changes needed to be made but it is now up and running, or so it appears.
I am able to discover the box but I do not have a QR code. I can't seem to find one on the box anywhere within /home/pi, which there is a variable for install home that is not used consistently throughout scripts by the way.
After digging around in your FAQ it would appear that the QR code in question is actually an entitlement license correct? There is also a development license correct? Can I acquire either of those for this install? If so then how?

Very nice! I think it is possible you will have the second fastest Firewalla build :) The QR code is the license that talks to everything. Please send a email to help@firewalla.com, with the MAC address of your Cubox, and also a link to this post. We will generate a developer license for you.
We are very curious if you can get this board to do gigabit IDS.

After much issue (linked below) box appears to be stable. No more boot loops. Disabling fireupgrade causes a boot loop. not being able to 'systemctl status redis-server' causes a boot loop. not being able to 'systemctl start redis' causes a boot loop. The watchdog on this setup is very aggressive.

As for gigabit IDS on the i.mx6 platform...
SolidRun states this about their 10/100/1000 network interfaces
(*) Note that due to internal i.MX6 buses the 1000Mbps interface speed is limited to 470Mbps.

The odroid XU4 or the tinkerboard may come closer. i dont' know if they have any bus issues prohibiting the ability to leverage the full 1gbps. If this works well and i like the app and features, i have an xu4 board sitting around i will try.

I have reached the end of all that i can think of on how to pump this thing up. with bro and the cubox as the iperf3 server i only get about 125-130 mbps. if i stop bro then i get about 230mbps. something is limiting it if it isn't the cpu or bus itself. I am done testing on this platform.
good news... i got pf_ring to round-robin across the bro workers. i could see load more equally distributed. maybe better luck with the xu4.
