Express VPN vs firewalla

Just wondering if it is any known issue between Firewall and express VPN ? Can I set up my express VPN with the device? Thank you

The feature is VPN client, it should be ready in a couple month. I believe Express VPN use openVPN, so it should work.

Hi,

Just to confirm, I have an Express VPN account. If I follow the steps listed (set up portforwarding), would the VPN be able to use my Express VPN account or do I still need to download the apps?

The VPN client is not yet out. Once it is out, it should work any provider that runs openvpn

What is the difference between using the future firewalla express vpn client and express vpn app itself ? is there anyway firewalla can turn the router into vpn router ?

Future Firewalla VPN is still in design stage, so we can't really comment on its feature. But in general, it will be much more integrated with Firewalla. (such as routing traffic transparently).

Also remember, this VPN is more towards people who do not trust their ISP, Government for certain types of traffic.

The Firewalla VPN server today, is more for people don't trust FREE WIFI, WIFI at the airport or at work ...
