Device Names

Hi,

I've just purchased the Firewalla Red and installed the App on my Pixel 2 running Android 8. The app seems to work fine, picks up nearly all the devices on the network (not all).  

The devices that do show do not show their proper device name, is that normal?

 Has anyone else had this issue?

  The device names are based on the information Firewalla collects from each device in the network. The names will improve as more information is collected from the network.

   

  Of cause it's not very great for now, we have a project ongoing to use more AI tech to improve device recognition. 

   

  Also as an alternative, you can change the name manually in the App.
