Home Network security scan - Vulnerability HNS-DNS-HIJACK
I used Avast antivirus on a computer within my home and it has been alerting that my router has a vulnerability called HNS-DNS-HIJACK. After reviewing my routers configs are in-fact using DNS I have specified and that my router has up-to-date firmware I'm left scratching my head as to "what" the notification / alert is referencing. My question is as follows;
"Could the Firewalla device be triggering this alert"? I do have the "Ad Block" feature enabled but not the VPN therefor DNS should not be routed via the Firewalla red box. I'm using an ARRIS router which has monitoring enabled which would also alert to such a threat, correct?
I can provide the open TCP ports and open UDP ports for my router if needed, just didn't want to post in open forum so if needed I'll email them to you.
