Making the switch!
Ok ok, I'm in.
So I'm specing out a new home network and want to use FWG Pro as my router. I am also going to be specing out wifi access points to use with it. Right now thinking about either Eero 7 or TPLink Deco 7.
Any experience with either of these with FWGP? One thing I am hoping to be able to accomplish is VLAN tagging via wifi.

Yea, I'll have to check the TP-Link Deco models. They are definitely cheaper. Overall what has your experience been between the Eero & TPLink Deco devices? My instinct tells me that the Eero would be better quality, perform better, and have better support. But the TPLink is probably just fine and is cheaper.
The Only reason I am looking for the VLAN tagging is to easily be able to identify IoT devices (put on a separate SSID) so that I can more easily create rules for them.

Yup. makes sense. thanks.
One other quick question. I probably need to include a switch in the mix - so there are different ways of wiring that.
I'd be inclined to wire the firewalla to the switch and then all the eeros and anything else wired (like my NAS) directly to the switch. I assume that just fine?
(the other way would be to wire the Eeros together and just have the main Eero wired to the switch?)
