Purple calling myfirewalla.com?
I have a Gold SE and the Purple that it replaced. I want to use the Purple as a roaming router (hotels etc) and so I reset it and went through the process of setting it up, which involved connecting it to the Gold (initially using a LAN cable) so it could access the world and register itself. Shortly after connecting it to the Gold (and while the Purple was still setting itself up) the Gold threw a warning that the Purple had been blocked from 'accessing malicious site myfirewalla.com'. Note that's not 'my.firewalla.com'.
How can the Purple be trying to connect to a dodgy site during its own setup phase, even after a factory reset?

This is explained here https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052985734-Why-is-Firewalla-making-strange-DNS-request
In summary, firewalla needs to block 'problem sites' at IP layer, in order to do that, it needs to DNS the domain for the IP address.
