Ethernet identifying on Windows boot

Hi, just got a Firewalla gold plus. Everything is fine, except when loading into Windows, my NIC will stay "identifying" for a good minute before establishing connection. I've tried setting duplex to 2.5gps instead of auto and still does it. Also after switching PC off I will get a notification saying Ethernet Port 1 has downgraded to 10mbps

  Windows / PC will go into sleep mode, it will go to 10Mbits. 

  The best way to avoid this is to use a switch between firewalla and your windows. (I believe this will likely solve the slow connection establishment.
