Firewalla Gold & Mesh Network with 2 MoCA Wired Backhaul Access Points
Hello,
I'd like to purchase the Firewalla Gold to implement it into my existing home mesh wifi network. I've got Verizon FiOS currently configured as per the "Before" photo attached.
Can someone help to confirm if the Firewalla device will serve its purpose correctly when configured as per the "After" photo?
Thank you!

Is your primary mesh access point running AP mode. (meaning, it and the other satellite wifi are running off the main router, which is the verizon FIOS?)
If above is true, I don't think your new topology will work, since both satellites after inserting the firwalla will be running on different layer 3 networks

Nope, the primary router is in router mode, and happens to be a Netgear mesh system that I own: https://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Whole-Tri-Band-Satellite-RBS750/dp/B08Z3FGSDH
I assume that the FiOS ONT assigns one IP to the main device (Netgear Orbi RBR750). The Netgear Orbi RBR750 then manages the two satellites (RBS750), and remaining wifi-connected devices.

Then, I am extremely confused;
Does your current configuration work? your satellite units are meshed from a network from your ONT, and your main network is also under NAT from the ONT. Your satellite units and main units, when backhauled, shouldn't even be able to talk to each other ...

https://a.co/d/iwHJ6Fy full speed when a laptop is hard wired to one of the moca devices directly. Does the firewalla device go between the FiOS ONT and primary router? or immediately after the primary router?
