Device Isolation Switch on Each Mobile App Device

Can anyone explain the function of the "device Isolation switch" located at the bottom of a device details, under "Monitoring" I have not been able to find the answer in the community. I have briefly enabled a few device isolations, but don't notice any change or impact.

  This is an accidental "leak" of our the UI to manage Access Point (future)
