Game Hosting VPN Client
Wanted to see if anyone has any use case or advice. We use our Firewalla for video game hosting business a buddy and I run. The games require IPV4 and port forwarding, but my ISP doesn't sell dedicated IP's, I was hoping to use the VPN client to use a dedicated IP purchased through a VPN, but unfortunately port forwarding isn't allowed on the VPN's side. Anyone have any recommendations on a VPN that you can purchase a dedicated IP that allows port forwarding that also works with firewalla?

How often does your ISP change IP mapping, if it is not often, you can use DDNS (which is there already with the firewalla VPN server).

We use a cloudfare DDNS for our website, but unfortunately for the games themselves they use a launcher that only shows the IP/port. So a static IP is necessary. Out of all the ones firewalla supports PureVPN might be the only solution, but I'm not sure how well it works.
I also don't know if we would have to both port forward the machines on the firewalla as well as via the VPN.Venturing into unknown territory.
Bottom line I'm trying to have a static ip with port forwarding not provided by our ISP.

If you want to port forward through your own VPN, you can consult this article https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500009502622-Create-Port-Forwarding-on-Gold-Purple-Series
