How many Firewalla Purples to remotely access devices on a remote location's LAN?
Hello,
I have an amateur radio contest station in another city I control remotely from my home. At the station, I have two PC's. One is connected to an ethernet device that controls a radio amplifier and is accessed using a web browser on the local LAN. The second is connected to a radio amplifier with a LAN connection that is accessed with RealVNC Viewer.
VPN Client software cannot be loaded on either one of these amplifier's control devices. Both have fixed IP addresses on the local LAN in the 192.168.0.xx range.
My goal is to remotely access each of the devices with a computer running a VPN software at my home. I have heard there is a way to access devices on the LAN at the remote location with Firewalla without loading any software on them. Can I accomplish this with one Firewalla Purple or do I need one at both locations? Eventually I will add other remote operators, so this would get expensive if I need more than one.
Thank you,
David N.
