VPN Speed
Hello All,
Please excuse my question,
I am currently working with GL-INET products, I have a vpn server (wireguard ) running on the GL-MT6000 and a client running on the GL-MT3000. I am getting 100 down / 100 up which is pretty good. Now, the issue is in this configuration I have to login to a global protect vpn. My downloads speeds remain good, but my upload speed gets destroyed 1 meg. So, my question is would I see better results with two FireWalla Gold Plus one of them being a wireguard server the other a client? The FireWalla hardware is significantly better than the GL-INET hardware. I am not sure if that makes any difference. Now, I have been in this configuration for a while now, with very little network issues. For the most part I have been able to work just fine. I would like to get better upload speed, if possible, with the FireWalla hardware.

Hello,
It's a site to site network configuration. I travel with a portable router my client router that connects back to my home. Again that works pretty good. For work I have to use Global protect which is installed in my work laptop. So, with my portable router I connect my work laptop to it. My work laptop has Global Protect so it can connect to their network.

I have two routers one of which stays in my home the other I travel with. My home router is the WireGuard server, the other router I travel with is the WireGuard client configured as a site to site network configuration. The speed that I get is 100 mbit down, 100 mbit down. Which is okay, that's more than enough for my needs. All that works fine I can see my home devices when travel etc...
The problem that I am seeing is when I travel my work computer connects to my client router. My work computer has Global Protect vpn installed. So, when I connect my work computer to my client router I see my upload speed go down to 1 mbit. It's like a vpn with a vpn
