Dns over VPN and Netflix

I've searched for a while and couldn't find anything similar to my problem.

I'm a Firewalla newbie. I set up Unbound with DNS over VPN, which obviously breaks Netflix streaming since I assume it can sense that something is off on my requests.

I've created a Route for all Video sites (preset available) and for all devices to (at least that what I thought it would do) to use the WAN directly. I can now log into Netflix, but I can't stream anything...

How can I accomplish that, make sure that Netflix and any other streaming service with geolocation checks, gets accessed without the extra after of Unbound+VPN so it doesn't mess with my streaming experience?

  What device are you running netflix? some clients may have GPS or able to detect their own location

  It’s all of them. AppleTVs, an NVIDIA Shield and through safari on a macbook. I’ll try with a private session on my computer, but I don’t think it’s the gps. Sometimes I get error messages, but they don’t specifically say that there’s a problem with my location or using a VPN, I’ll see if I can get more info on the errors and post them here

  Same issue here. Need a way to exclude target lists or domains instead of just devices in the DNS unbound exclusions so that Netflix domains can use DoH instead so it'll work again. Not feasible to exclude every device from unbound especially a guest network.
