Does the unit support any WAP HW platforms ?

I am considering getting the new Firewalla Gold Pro 10 GB for my home, I have high speed fiber to the house 5 gbps, and the only units that currently support that bandwidth capacity are not the best for security (ASUS, TP-Link...). I just discovered this unit today, and I am very interested in seeing if it will work for me. I do not see any Wi-Fi accessories (WholeHome, not the little bridging unit), so I may end up leaving my current router online just for Wi-FI services, but I am considering using a couple of WAP device's like a Cisco or Aruba or similar, if I can find something affordable and compatible. Any recommendations ?

  I'd suggest you change your existing router to AP mode first. They usually perform much better in this mode than as a router. 

  If you do want to purchase new wifi, make sure the wifi/router/mesh unit can do AP. (For example, Google Wifi can't do mesh when AP mode is on). 

  The most popular consumer routers we see are eero, orbi, tplink

  And AP units are Ubiquiti, Aruba, TPLink
