yes, should be fine but I'm wondering why are you linking through the eeros instead of switches?

The recommended eero toplogy is to have the eeros in front of the switches, theres a reported odd behaviour when the eero's are behind the switches. Of note as well is that the Firewalla Gold (in this instance) is in Router mode.

I think you may have misunderstood. One eero must be in front of all other eeros. so yes, the first one nees to be in front of the switch as you have it, but the second two do not have to be.

But for the fist on, you could also put

    FW > Switch 1 > eero 1 > switch 2 > Eero 2 /3

    for example.

Infact, let met reframe this - this is the actual layout I need to go for:

I have a new fibre connection, replacing an old copper connection that will move the house's internet connection point from upstairs, where there is a patch panel, to downstairs.

My intent is to move the networking equipment downstairs.

I guess my question really then becomes - "Can the Dining Room Eero AP be wire backhauled to the Gateway Eero via two unmanaged switches in serial?"
