Creating secure network on public wifi

Hi,

I'm moving in appartment/condo soon, they have shared wifi for all the users. I'd like to shield my Iot/computers from the other people on this shared wifi (Network in a network protected with a firewall?).

Is it possible to accomplish this with Firewalla? Would this possible with Firewalla purple in bridge mode?

I actually have a Firewalla Blue in simple mode with Asus RT-AX55 router.

  Blue+Asus RT-AX55 should work for you. 

  And even better, if you get Purple (or Purple SE) + Asus RT in AP mode. This way, your ingress (traffic from your neighbors) will always be screened by firewalla first before hitting the Asus
