WIFI: Turn Off/Disable?
I have a Firewalla Purple and just setup the WIFI network to test capabilities. Now I cannot remove this network or even turn the WIFI off. Is this by design? Seems rather odd if it is. I can't imagine a security use case where this permissible.
I'm trying to lower my risk footprint and want to turn off all unnecessary services and abilities.
Any thoughts? I'm not looking for workarounds with rule sets.

There is no wifi turn on/off button, you need to remove the WLAN.
You can go to network, select the LAN which contains the Wi-Fi settings, in "Local Network" page, click Edit. In "Interface" block, you will see Wi-Fi icon is in blue, click the blue icon, then the WLAN is removed. If WLAN is the only interface for your LAN, you need to delete the LAN.
If you already do so and still have issue to remove the Wi-Fi, please raise a ticket. -
Ok, so you're saying that if I have created multiple networks, I just need to select a different created network but if I have not (and have only created a Wi-Fi network) I have to delete the network?
If I de-select Wi-Fi in the "interface" block (the blue icon) and try to save it, I am given an error stating that an "ethernet port must be selected." And this is because I have not defined any other Wi-Fi networks to attach the radio to?
