Gold SE Transparent Bridge with VLANS on Omada?
New firewalla user. Just setup Gold SE in transparent bridge mode. It sits between an Omada ER605 Router and an Omada SG2210 Switch. I have 4 VLANS configured in Omada network, private, IoT, and Secure. I know you have to setup each VLAN in firewalla to capture the traffic.
Confused about 2 things:
1. Since I want to keep my ER605 router for the time being - do you disable any of the firewall stuff in Omada config since you have a firewalla - or do you leave and basically have a double layer and assume ER605 is doing initial blocking before anything gets to firewalla.
2. To configure VLANs. Do you use DHCP or Static? For the original setup its a static IP on the Secure Omada config. Do you use DHCP for each additional VLAN or do you give them a unique Static IP on each VLAN? Confused.
Sorry for the newbie questions - learning as I go...(long term i plan to remove ER605 if there is any value to that. Dunno)

1. Unless they are interfering with firewalla, you don't need to disable anything on the existing router.
2. I don't think you need anything for the VLAN configurations, you don't need a network on the LAN side. The connection type on the VLAN side should be "DHCP"
