Seven Years Since the Firewalla Red Launch in 2017

Seven years ago, a group of engineers shared a 3D-printed prototype on Kickstarter (and later Indiegogo), transforming the idea of a simple firewall into a working product. With the support of Firewalla's original backers, Firewalla Red was created with the mission to make cybersecurity simple and powerful for everyone.

Fun fact: Firewalla Red was initially supposed to be Firewalla Orange, but our Kickstarter supporters voted for red instead.

Today, Firewalla's product line includes our fastest model to date: the 10Gb Firewalla Gold Pro, furthering our mission to improve cybersecurity and networking.
