General Setup and Management question
Is the configuration done only on the phone app? I am a Managed service provider tageting the SMB market. We are looking a a firewall platform. Is the only way to make a change to the firewall by being onsite and using the phone app? Does the MSP product allow remote changes to policies, etc. or is it only information metrics?

You can manage the box from anywhere, not just onsite.
One phone can manage many boxes and multiple phones can be paired to each box as needed.
The MSP product has vastly more reporting features and some management capabilities, but you can’t do everything that the mobile app can do. There is also an API included which has some automation capacity as well as some alerting.

Thanks. It sounds like perhaps the App might be the way to go for now. I have ordered a couple firewalls and will experiment.
If you don't mind one more follow up question, what exactly is the target market for the MSP product. I thought at first it might be targeted at managed service providers but that may not be that case. Do dioes the App and the MSP work in tandom with each other?

The MSP (https://firewalla.net) initially was only targeted at MSP (managed service, or managed security) providers for small businesses and homes. And now, there are many are also using the professional plan to manage one or more personal boxes.
At the moment the MSP will require the app to work. But eventually, the business plan, may not. (we are working hard to get to that point)
