WPAD Protocol - Blocking

Good morning,

I have a question about the WPAD protocol and how it is being blocked on the firewalla.

My Windows machine are issuing requests via this protocol.

I have since disabled these by changing the registry settings and are monitoring the domain report for the domain requested.

These are being blocked via the default bundle (discovered via the firewalla app)

How exactly are these being blocked.  Are they being blocked via the protocol or other mechanism?

Any help would be grateful.

Maybe we can generate a feature request to capture these requests and then forward them via DNS to an internal or remote service later.
