Hello

I am running my Gold SE in router mode with a dual WAN in load-balancing (xDSL + StarLink) connected to a Wifi mesh. It works well

I was thinking to add a Wifi SD to the Gold to create an emergency wifi guest network, in case of a problem with the Wifi equipment... but is it supported ?

  Let me rephrase the question : I know that Wifi SD can provide a guest network. Bur it seems that the SD wifi is connected to the primary ethernet WAN interface, and not to the dual-WAN one...Is this a way to configure this ?

  The WiFi SD is not a good access point, it may be able to handle devices less than 8 devices, and it can't operate that far. 

  The WifiSD can be its own interface, so it need not be part of the WAN interface. See this for examples https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/7709014559507-Firewalla-Wi-Fi-SD-Installation-Guide
