Quad9 vs Active Protect

I am wondering about the value of adding Quad9 for DNS resolution, either by changing the WAN DNS settings or via DOH server, if I already have active protect running. How much additional protection (if any) do I get against potential bad sites do I get if I add Quad9? Same goes for the additional lists such as dShield?

  In security, the more layers you have, the better.

  So, if you do want to use another DNS, please change it at LAN or DoH. (Do not change the WAN DNS, that one is what firewalla uses to map domain to IP, if the domain is blocked, you are likely also miss the IP block)
