Firewalla Gold 30% slowness on speeds

Testing a Firewalla Gold just at my house... Nothing turned on, literally everything off, ISP connected to 2.5g port and my PC connected to the LAN 2.5g port. My PC NIC is also a 2.5g. When I do a speed test on a 1GB connection I only get 650ish down and Up... If I remove the firewalla and go direct into modem I get 1gb down and up... I have been playing with it for a couple hours now and cannot figure out why the firewalla is impacting performance that much? There is no other PC connected. Anyone have any ideas? I understand 650ish is still more than enough, just principal really lol.

Are you running PPPoE? if you are, please turn off the smart queue.

If you are not running PPPoE, check this article https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056875493-Speed-Tests-and-Speed-Optimization-with-Firewalla

We will probably need to test the LAN first and then the WAN side and see which part is slow.

Smart Queue is off. How do i test the speed from the firewalla? I don't see an option on the phone app to do this anywhere?

Never mind found it. Holy crap is was there all along lol. ISP test from Firewalla is about 900mb, better than 650. So it must be the LAN port 2.5 I am connected to.

ok so its the 2.5g port on the LAN... I moved it over to the normal 1G port and speeds are back up... what the heck? Any idea on what to do with getting the 2.5g port to work as its suppose to? I have an upgrade to 2GB speeds coming and I would like to use it.

Are you using a Gold SE, or Gold Plus?

Are you using PPPoE?

and also to add. I made sure than when i plug PC into the 2500mb port that it does show on the NIC that its connected at 2500mb speeds.
