Security info lookup route?

Hi, When I lookup IP info of a particular alarm from the Alarms page "security info lookup" on the app, I assume this is retrieved over the default WAN interface. Any way I can have all these services go over a VPN connection? If I add them to the routes would they follow, considering that it's coming from the app?

  Security Info lookup is done via your phone. So it depends on where/what your phone was connected to
