Data only SIM card

Hi, I have a data only SIM card that I would like to use as a failover wan for the firewalla router. Is it possible to use the USB slot on firewalla purple SE for this purpose? What USB device do you recommend that accepts a data only GSM SIM card? Thanks

  We do not support any USB SIM cards. Best is to use an external modem for that.

  Thanks. Do you recommend a particular modem? Also, can I connect the modem to the USB port of the Firwalla Purple SE? As the WAN port is taken by the cable modem.

  We always recommend one that has an ethernet connection, it is likely more reliable and faster than USB.
