Port scanning alert

Hello everyone I have an interesting situation. I received a port scan alert on my network. But the alert generated from a device in my house that hasn’t been on since yesterday. Also, the device is a live boot requiring a USB stick to be plugged in. At the time of the alert generated, this device was powered off and no USB stick plugged in. Is it possible that the scan occurred on the day the device was turned on and it took 24 hours for firewalls to detect the scan?

  The scan direction may be wrong, it may be the reverse of your alarm.
