Trying to figure out correct DHCP setup with ASUS router
So I have the new ASUS RT-BE96U. Giving it a try. When I set the network up initially it does give me the option to setup and Auto IP network and leave the DHCP box unchecked therefore removing the ability of the router to distribute private IPs. So after that would I just hook up the Firewalla Gold in between my cable modem and WiFi router and enable DHCP mode? This doesn’t turn the ASUS router into AP mode. You still get all the security features it offers but I’m just confused on how to setup the FWG+ with regards to the router when the router isn’t using DHCP but the FWG is. Thanks for any help.

The DHCP mode you mention above is really router mode. (if you put gold in between). If you connect the Gold to your WiFi router, and use DHCP mode, it is this https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004304114-Everything-about-Firewalla-DHCP-Mode-
