    I used zenmap it found
    Discovered open port 8080/tcp
    Discovered open port 53/tcp
    Discovered open port 9999/tcp
    Discovered open port 4000/tcp
    Discovered open port 7000/tcp
    Discovered open port 8001/tcp
    Discovered open port 8002/tcp

    I asked chatGCP it added

HTTP: Port 80 - Used for web browsing.
HTTPS: Port 443 - Secure web browsing.
DLNA: Port 7676 - Used for Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) media sharing.
Samsung Remote Control: Port 55000 - Used for remote control functionality.

These did not help so for now I have it open full to the internet.

In my opinion, open to the full internet is what it SHOULD be. (Instead of blocking everything on the TV and then opening only certain ports).

You are not saving anything by hampering the TV operational ports.

You have to account for manufacturer TV firmware update servers, web surfing, and other stuff which may vary.

The Firewalla stops all uninitiated access to the TV from the internet, so what ever the TV does, it does to make the TV work correctly.

And understand, that open ports don't automatically mean a vulnerability. There has to be some program or some code behind the port watching for incoming requests that it can respond AND THEN there has to be somebody who has the time and desire to find that code and attempt to exploit it.

But that won't happen because your TV doesn't get random requests because the Firewalla blocks all that.

I had to create a rule to allow all to and from the internet. You are saying there is still base protection of some kind ?

For simple devices, you should never need to create an allow rule for traffic to the internet. If creating such rule works, it really means you have another rule that blocks something useful from your TV.

I'd first remove that allow rule and then use this article to find which rule is blocking your service https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360050255274-What-to-do-when-you-can-t-access-certain-websites

For some unknown reason my blocker is 0% and I am unsure why.
I discovered this when my device using NZBGet was giving errors and I tried I followed the article above.
I have yet to diagnose the TV.
