no throughput after wan outage restored

I am new to Firewalla, we have the gold plus in router mode.  Yesterday we had an outage with our ISP provider.  Firewalla logs showed the loss of connection, and the restoration 2 hours later.  The problem is that the Firewalla would not pass any traffic after the ISP was restored until i hard rebooted it.  After getting everything back up and running, i was able to duplicate the error by unplugging the isp modem to simulate an outage, then plugging it back in.  When modem came back online, firewalla logs showed the restoration of service, but would not pass traffic without rebooting the firewalla.  

 

Is there a setting im missing as this seems like very basic router functionality?  I thought maybe some sort of security setting that blocks all traffic after an outage or something.  Any help is appreciated.

  Definitely something is goofy here. I've only seen times when the modem comes back in a zombie state, and then not allow the firewalla to get a real IP address. I just created a case for you, and you can use that case to send the logs, we can see everything there.

  I have a new Gold Plus and it lost connectiong with the ISP modem a few times and soon came back online. I'd suspect your ISP modem on this one.
