100 Mbps instead of 1Gbps LAN speeds- Firewalla Purple

I've seen some switches fail autonegotiation, so if you can force gigabit for the port on the switch I'd try that. Another common cause of this kind of thing is a faulty cable. Maybe try swapping in another cable?

I'd also suggest changing the port on the switch that firewalla is connecting to, and see if it make any difference.

The interesting thing is I changed the port on the switch and it changed to 1Gb for 2 hours and then went back to 100Mb.

    Did you change cable?

What is the make and model of your switch? is it managed? do you have another extra switch you can add in between purple and your current switch? (this will help us test if the problem is the switch or firewalla)

I did change out the cable. Same.
The switch is a TP Link TL-SG1024D - unmanaged. I don’t have an extra Gb switch, however, when removing the firewalla from the network my speeds are not limited. I was getting the full speed through ISP up to 900+ Mb

The reason for the slowness is due to the firewalla LAN port negotiating with your TPLink at 100mbit right? if it is, we need to find the root cause of the negotiation part. (usually, the issue is electrical at the physical layer)

    A few more things

    1. Are the cables you changed same length as before? are they extra long? if possible change to a shorter one.

    2. Another way is to configure the Purple LAN port as WAN, and WAN port as LAN, and see if this will make any difference.
