Alternative power adapter for Purple
Hi,
I currently have a FW Purple with the power supply plugged into the international power adapter (I'm in Australia). However, it doesn't fit in particularly securely and is easy to knock out (multiple times yesterday whilst recabling nearby with the FW resetting itself to an older DNS configuration once, which took me some time to notice).
I think the power adapter is 5V 3A - is this correct? The text on the adapter is not particularly clear and my eyes aren't too good either - even with using my phone camera for magnification.
I'm wondering whether it's possible to use an old phone charger with a local (AU) plug as a replacement - will a multi-voltage adapter be OK? I have one that's 5V 3A/9V 1.6A/12V 1.2A.
Thanks,
Ian

Belkin makes a USB-c adapter that provides the following output:
5V / 3A / 15W
9V / 2.77A / 25W
3.3V–5.9V / 3A / 12W–15W
3.3V–11V / 2.25A / 7.5W–25WIs this an acceptable or recommended USB-c adapter for the Firewalla Purple?
I also tested the latest Apple 20W USB-c adapter with the Firewalla Purple. It works, but it is rated at 9V and 2.2A. Should we not use this adapter from Apple?
