LXD Network setup to work with Firewalla Gold with LACP established using all three LAN interfaces
Hi Firewalla team,
This post is to find out how the Firewalla Gold application interacts with the network stack on its Ubuntu Server host OS and how to setup LXD Networking to work with Firewalla's setup.
It seems like the simplest way to attach an LXD container to the Firewalla host OS interface is to create a Linux Bridge Adapter.
I want to avoid any NAT, DHCP or DNSMASQ and simply attach the LXD container instance to Firewalla host OS as Layer 2, assign a VLAN and have Firewalla control everything else.
However, creating a Linux Bridge Adapter changes the underlying Linux network setup by slaving the physical interface to the new Bridge Adapter, which would probably break Firewalla.
I haven't yet powered on Firewalla to investigate as I'd rather get this sorted out first then go looking.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
